MyGothicHeart.Com Interview with Zeitgeist by Abortedlife

You're known to be the pioneers of Gothic Rock in Australia, but were there actually other hopefuls that followed in your footseps?
It might seem as though the ghostly allure of the said genre/movement is now being revived back to its former glory. However, do you trust that sooner or later there will be enough material out there to bribe a major comeback?
So, what then eventually led to the realization of Zeitgeist?
In respect to your chosen name, since the word itself has several meanings, what accurate interpretation did you want to suggest?
What were the prior musical orientations of each individual member right before joining the all-familiar roster and do they bring in varied approaches that make up a unique sound?
Discuss with us the usual themes in your songs as well as the sources of inspiration of the writer designated to such an enormous task.
How do we order/purchase copies of your official releases and where do we get to check their tracklistings beforehand?
Are you also willing to add more sophisticated elements to your trademark style if that would ensure a rise in the demographics, aside from your gothic listeners?
Tell us about your promising new single, "Cam Girls", which is a classic anthem in the making. What necessary steps have you taken thus far to promote it?
At first, I expected your music video to showcase you in full participation, rather than the models taking most of the credit for its outcome. Are you planning to get some more audio-visual projects in the future?
"Bloodloverush" would have to be my favorite piece. I have a penchant for melodic riffs and the moody guitar overtones throughout the song delivered that. Were you somehow inspired by the playings of other guitarists when recording this?
Are you updated with other similar artists located in your country and have you tried forming alliances with them as well?
Do you regularly go on tours? What's your favorite local destination/s to be doing your live performances in?
You even step it up a notch by running your own fashion line. What kinds of merchandise do you sell and how would you set your business apart from the rest?
What's a routinary day like to you, both in and out of your band's working jurisdiction?
What's the latest news on Zeitgeist and even upcoming works still in progress?
Any last words to conclude this interview? Thanks again for this rare opportunity and more power to you from all of us here at My Gothic Heart! |
