I told Dave I would post some of my old stuff and searched through what ever scarps of poerty I didnt put in my precious but still missing leather book and after looking them over, pondering a couple I decided on a short and simple one, seems to pale in comparison to ones I am reading here however sometimes few words need to be said to convey the meaning. (funny you would think I would not be nervous around other poets, yet I think I am) anyhow here it is.
No words are spoken
Yet the moment now broken
Venomous words now come fast
Bringing up memories past
We both feel the pains
Again silence remains
Again I have hurt you
Yet again I hurt too |

Insomnia
All the voices talking inside my head
Negative thoughts as I lie in my bed
Tell me again what I can not do right
Negative voices consuming my night
Never good enough and never will be
Is what all your advice is saying to me
Shut up, shut up I just want to scream
Just leave me alone and let me dream
(which was posted after a much less impressive poem)
Bubble Gum
You are like bubble gum
I chewed on you awhile
until you had no flavor
So I spit you right out
Now your stuck in my hair
( I personally amused myself with that analogy, however only females can relate to getting gum stuck in their hair so the joke was lost on so many who read it and the person it was intended for was far too arrogant to ever suspect it was about him LOL) |

Dragon God
Saturn, visible in midnight skyes... ascends as plaintive mortal cries....
Beseech uncaring ears in vain....this fell cycle must not come again.
Dark vehicle for madness struts....ancient legend, once quiet, stirring in jagged ritual cuts...
In days long past, beyond mortal understanding...Zagar presided, jealous right hand of evil demanding...
Obescience of writhing, unwashed masses...disdaining the rule, driving infernal unholy clashes...
Escalating dementia, speaks in tongues too familiar...lustful designs appear logical, will heaven's innocence surrender?
Corruptors of innocence, betrayers of trust...gaining acendency by default, birthing Zagar's insatiable lust.
Come to him now, you too willing slaves of desire....corruption of beauty, is the price that's required.
Lasting peace an illusion, fanciful daydreams entrust....fragile innocence the admission...left lifeless as dust.
Zagar's rebirth foretold, awful knowlege scarce hidden...wretched man-souls, once priceless, fit only for midden.
The twentieth upon you, arriving in fire....trumpets death to the beauty mortal souls doth require...
Hark you legions, bleating, insupportable excuses...stinking of midden, honor lost among, unspeakable abuses.
The beast, at last, comes round for the feast...promised by prophets, humanity's horror unleashed....
Zagar.....gatekeeper, Leiutenant of Hell....free amongst us again, lies...all he can tell.
Transmuting heartsblood to bitter wine...
Worship mammon, let Zagar's ascendancy shine

A BLOSSOMING GUMAMELA
Circa 1998
(Poem by Gerard Bumanglag a.k.a. ABORTEDLIFE)
I.
A falling star
Ignites from afar,
A vision unravels,
A presentiment foretells
A seed, within a womb,
In still regrets entombed
And withered by forces tragic
But still, rejuvenated by the magic
Of a motherly faith retained,
In hopeful dreams regained.
Ah, Daniella,
A blossoming gumamela,
In bloom enchanting
With freshness everlasting.
Ever so sweet my dear,
Conqueror of fear,
Amidst the darkness thrown,
Your petals reflect the dawn,
Prize of a forbidden game,
Conceived in passion's name.
II.
A morning star
Enlights from afar,
A vision unfolds
A presentiment foretold,
A flower, so beloved,
In still innocence enshrouded
And whose purity remains unmarred
With a delicate skin, yet unscarred
By a motherly love impressed,
In loving arms caressed.
Ah, Daniella,

Ever so sweet my niece,
Deliverer of peace,
Through flying kisses of love,
Swifter than a flittering dove,

| wow, ok first off notice the difference between my nocturnal prison and Gerards nocturnal release, wow shows a flip side to insomnia, second off Gerard I am glad you got over the need to ryme because in my opinion your freeverse is where you shine! |

Beauty's Beast
Upon awakening, life's essence infusing her---manufactured images, cruel thoughts are abusing her.
Ceaseless yearning for elusive universal acceptance---resulting in chaotic nonsensical repentance...
Daemon goddes of beauty, in her wisdom demands---blood sacrifice, painful existence, it's what she commands.
Pagan goddess insatiable, lusting for blood---indecisive emotions, vile result is a flood...
Of precious soul nectar, vitality soiled---cheap carnal results, promised rewards hopelessly spoiled.
Innocent soul led astray, now hopelessly addicted---to chimeric ideals, fell result easily predicted.
Still hopefully pursuing idealized un-attainable perfection---innocence sacrificed on the altar of the mirror's reflection.
Turning to darkness, where such activities thrive---blessing uncaring goddess as she hopelessly strives...
For surcease from this madness, past sacrifices demeaned---desperate promises, fervent prayers hoplessly screamed.
Desperation, sweet music, such despair thoroughly enjoyed---this false goddess won't listen, being mildly annoyed.
Daemon schemes, foul plans threatening to engulf her---interrrupted by by the powerful, sweet voice from inside her.
Startled daemon reacts, she is mortally offended---this undesired complication, was never intended.
With crystalline beauty, words clear as a bell---false goddess commanded to go straight back to hell!
Remember you possesor's of beautiful souls....
Struggle is always rewarded...strive for reasonable goals.

| wowwwwwww www..these are all well-written poems, you guys can surely create a booklet of it t make money of this??? hmm or..why not post it in any sites so these poems can go places and reach more souls who would surely awaken their interests over these writings...loud applause to you geri and davee...really deep so unique... |
