Hey, i love writing, be it poetry, lryics and so on, thought it would be good for people to post their work here, and people to give some decent comments on it etc. Here's something i did.....
Cursed Silhouette (In God We Hurt)
Maintaining the chaos inside my head,
It happened again our souls almost dead
What I see through my eyes says it all,
All around the remains of the hellacious war
We waited too long to crash and fall (you left it too late)
All the reasons come to life before they die (the suicidal sacrifice)
They try to hide their sins but their lives burn away (burning effigy of hate)
Their cursed silhouette is here to stay (HERE TO STAY)
Nailed upon the cross with a devil on the inside
He knew he’d been betrayed and has come to enslave
Resurrection of the Millennia and its hells time to rise
Our god is the fire burning our desires
Our faith is the suffering around our necks
Our Lord is the figure destroying our souls
We waited too long to crash and fall (you left it too late)
All the reasons come to life before they die (the suicidal sacrifice)
They try to hide their sins but their lives burn away (burning effigy of hate)

A stab in the dark like that long time ago
A prophecy was held and it’s back for our soul
There’ll never be a tomorrow as the sun won’t rise
Don’t look to the sky there’s no answer
Don’t pray for salvation it doesn’t exist
Don’t ask for help as he’s causing the pain

You never thought this would happen
No one could prepare for this kind of war
The great one caused the suffering
That aura of light was gone
Your family’s had faded away
There was nothing left anymore
The last one left was the cursed silhouette
And he smiled and then GONE (screamed)

Am I the only one with these feelings?
Is anyone even home?
I’ve been waiting all these years
Only thinking of you of course
Now that I got your attention
I’m wondering if you feel the same
I’m only asking this one question
That way I know
It’s better to hurt in this timeline of process
Than later on down the future line
And no matter what your answer would be
You will always & can be a friend of mine |

"Savior"
Emotions run wild as I close my eyes,
the pain runs out of me,
it runs through the tears of my eyes,
the only god I've ever known,
has betrayed my trust,
and has betrayed my faith,
as I sit down and try to pray,
I look up to a man that's supposed to be,
watching over all of us and trying to love us,
and teach us right from wrong,
he's supposed to be our eyes in the darkness,
but where is he know?

With all the destruction and devistation,
the world dosen't seem like a home anymore,
it's more like a place in limbo,
I watch the fighting on the news,
the images of war are burned into my skull,
images flash by, one's I don't want to see,
what the hell is wrong with the world today,
when we can't love each other,
because the person who rules our world,
won't let us love one another,
were stuck on seperate side of the fight,
and now we much fight each other,
