| I enjoy reading. I try to read up on all my interests. I have a large book collection that includes books on Wicca, Paganism, Herbalism, and every other aspect of the craft. I also love a good Vampire novel. Books by Anne Rice, Laurell K. Hamilton, Shannon Drake and Christen Feehan decorate a number of shelves. I also enjoy writing, (however to be honest, I’m not all that good at it. At least that is my opinion. Needlepoint, painting, gardening, and a host of other things round off my hobbies. | |

| I never miss a CSI show. I enjoy all three. Also all the different Law and Order, and Crossing Jordan. When these aren't on I mostly turn off the TV. and turn up the music. Or grab a good book. | |

| Greetings to one and all, I'm Raven, So this is the spot where I tell you who I am. By the Gods if anyone can answer this one please let me know. There are times in my life when I keep comeing back to this question and still haven't found the answer. But just for fun lets see if I can answer it here. Or at least make it a start. I, like most, am many things and at times in my life where many more. I'm a happily married woman at the ripe age of 35. My husband is many things. He is a Pagan, a Vampire, my best friend, and my lover… To sum him up in one word he is my Lifemate… But enough about him lets get back to me…. I was a mother of two wonderful children you are now my own personal guarding and at times guiding angels. My daughter Arlena and My son Brandon… passed to the Summerland on July 22, 1995… My heart, happiness and sunlight went with them… I am a witch and no I don't mean the kind with a big worty nose, green face and flys on a broom. I am a real witch. I practice witchcraft as a religion. I have been a practicing witch for 16 years. I have been ordained as clergy by the ULC for 4 years. I follow a blending of many Pagan Traditions. As a Priestess I feel it is my duty and service to others as well as the Lord and Lady to learn and respect all forms of Spirituality and Traditions. I think my most enjoyment comes from teaching and learning. I am a founding member and Elder of The Coven of the Black Rose. Coven of The Black Rose is an eclectic group of like-minded people, following their own chosen path for spiritual growth and study. But have found that they wish to come toghter and work with others of like mind. We are a Nocturnal Eclectic Coven. We see and seek out balance between the Light and the Dark forces of Nature. We are all the Shades of Gray in between. We have members from various Religious paths that come together for Esbats, Sabbats and other Days and Nights of Power, to celebrate, learn and teach. All are welcome so long as you come with a welling to learn, a respect for other Spiritual paths and know that there are many pathways to Deity and each must find there own road to walk to the Devine. Members of Black Rose have come together with these things and have found that we can walk our own paths with friends. We truly are not alone. Coven of The Black Rose is located in Mobile, Alabama. While the online group is open to any who wish to come and join us, the Coven its self is closed. If you are interested in joining us at the Covenstead please email me for more information. As well as being very active with the Coven my husband and I run a local Vampire House. Kunta ainak Oma Veri is a Vampire House located in Mobile, Al. Our name is Carpathian and translates into English as Tribe of the Ancient Blood. This Tribe is first and foremost a family. We may not all be related by blood or marriage, as in your traditional means, but we have chosen each other as sisters and brothers. As a family, we are here to help each other and support each other in our community. That is our first mission statement. I have many hobbies. Including but not limited to photography. I am once again trying to pull together my studio. Due to illness I had to close the doors. However things are better health wise for the most part. I also own my on clothing line. Black Catz Fashion. We specialize in clothing for the Goth, vampire, pagan, SCA and many other fashion types. I am raising three spastic cats (or are they raising me? ya. that's it.). As all cat people know, they own us we do not own them… Two are black both males Mocha and Espresso, the last is a little black and white female named Latte. And yes, their names do describe their personalities. Oh! And if you haven’t figured it out from the names of my furry ones; I am the Biggest Coffee Junkie on the planet. If it has to do with coffee I'm your gal. LOL I guess that’s about it. I’m sure there’s some that I have left out. But for the most part I’m just a down to earth gal, with a hidden wild side. At times I even have purple hair. LOL.. I do enjoy having fun with others and getting to know people of all kinds. After all we are all students in life and teachers.
